Alexander Brenner is renowned for designing residential buildings and villas for a demanding clientele. In 1990, Brenner founded his atelier in Stuttgart, Germany. He and his team work on projects with a holistic, client-centered approach. His unique approach provides building construction and spatial design, furniture and lighting, garden design, and open space planning. While the majority of their work is on private homes, the scope of their work also includes galleries, art collections, commercial urban development, and interior design projects.
UNIQUE AND SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTS
KEIM and Alexander have collaborated on his very own Brenner Research House. There, he and his team explored unique and sustainable building practices, along with interesting mineral finishes such as Romanit Lime Paint, Design Stain/Glaze, and various decorative paint finishes. The results are earthy, light, and surprisingly tactile finishes for the voluminous interior spaces. The use of low-impact building materials is a key consideration, and KEIM mineral finishes not only met the requirement but exceeded expectations. However, perhaps the biggest reason for the successful partnership is KEIM’s relentless pursuit of custom one-on-one technical and design support, which aligns with the holistic approach of all of Alexander’s designs.
