We spend 90% of our time indoors, and indoor air can be as much as 5 times more unhealthy than outdoor air. The materials we choose for our homes and buildings should be free of hazardous chemicals, especially those used for our painted walls, as we are exposed to them daily. Mineral paints are the purest, cleanest, and healthiest options, and they help improve our indoor air quality by promoting a balanced indoor climate. Maintaining the right balance of temperature, humidity, and freedom from emissions is crucial for better indoor air.
Certified Pure and Healthy Materials
KEIM has been developing paints to promote healthy living for decades. As early as 1983, our first healthy paint launch led the way as the first paint producer to receive a Natureplus certificate. Today, 85% of our paints and stains are certified Gold for Material Health by the Cradle to Cradle Products Institute®. No other paint company can make this claim.
