The Fair-Haired Dumbbell is a project by FFA and Guerrilla Development, showcasing original artwork by James Jean. This office building, with retail space on the ground floor, is located in the Burnside Bridgehead area of Portland. The building is set on a small site surrounded by busy streets. To maximize space, the design includes public plazas that connect to the retail area, making it easier for people to walk through and relax. The Fair-Haired Dumbbell features two angled six-story towers with hand-painted art on all sides. Sky bridges link the 4,000 square foot office spaces, allowing tenants to customize their layouts. Each side of the building offers unique views of Portland through varied window sizes. On the ground floor, it will feature unique shops and creative landscaping.
