The dome was coated with KEIM Royalan and the stone facade with KEIM Restauro Lasur. Project is divided into phases, so the building is not finished.

White facade attracts dirt, pollution, and biological growthThe white facade tends to attract dirt, pollution, and biological growth, while there are concerns about water infiltration at the dome. So far, the following work has been completed: the Capital dome, pillars, and the facades of the east promenade. The dome has been protected with two coats of opaque KEIM Royalan, while the areas above the cornices and within the pediments have been treated with KEIM Restauro Lasur stain. The facade below the cornices is made of natural Arkansas limestone, which received a saturation coat of Restauro Dilution to maintain its appearance while providing weather protection.
