SOLDALIT^® ME

Introducing SOLDALIT® ME – a highly specialized sol silicate exterior paint finish with photocatalytic action. The tenacious bonding action of sol silicate makes this ideal for previously painted surfaces and bare masonry of all types. Soldalit ME acts much like a catalytic converter in the presence of light. The oxidation process breaks down organic compounds that come in contact with the paint surface into harmless nitrates, improving air quality. Soldalit-ME promotes the decomposition of air pollutants (VOCs) and is self-hygienic, eliminating mold spores and other biological growth. Specialized mineral pigments in Soldalit ME are responsible for this chemical process, and their effectiveness lasts the lifetime of the paint finish. SOLDALIT-ME uses a proprietary formula combining silica-sol and potassium silicate binders, inorganic mineral pigments and fillers, and an acrylate copolymer to form both chemical and mechanical bonds, even on the most difficult-to-paint substrates without primer coats. This new generation mineral silicate paint is ideal for finishing ceramic glazed tile and terra cotta, glass, non-ferrous metals, granite, marble, pebble-dash concrete, and previous acrylic or latex painted surfaces. It is also ideal for all masonry surfaces exposed to severe weather conditions.
