LIGNOSIL® VERANO is a mineral silicate graying stain for exterior wood façade cladding. Treating wood simulates an aged, grayed surface as it would look after several years of weather aging. Lignosil-Verano penetrates the wood but does not develop a film on the surface to allow the wood to breathe and dissipate internal moisture vapor naturally. It offers limited water repellency, and the mineral binder and translucent oxide pigments are completely UV stable. A chief benefit is the uniform graying of wood surfaces, regardless of variable exposure to sun and rain.
