KEIM Limited Warranty for Mineral Silicate Paints and Stains
Here, you will find an outline of our limited warranty, Keim’s obligations, and your rights under the limited warrant. This information extends your existing consumer rights and does not replace them.

What the limited warranty covers
Our limited warranty covers light-fast color performance, adhesion to prescribed surfaces, and meeting the physical properties listed on the technical data sheet. However, to ensure the validity of this warranty, the surface must be maintained following Keim guidelines.
Your warranty period
We understand that diƯerent products may have diƯerent needs. That’s why we oƯer flexible warranty periods depending on the product used. Please see specific warranty information on product tech data sheets or below.
Unless otherwise specified, the warranty period covers your purchase for 90 days from the order date. Any manufacturing deficiencies or unsatisfactory results should be reported to info@keim.com, immediately upon inspection or use. Reporting these issues promptly will expedite the resolution process.
Warranty exclusions
This Limited Warranty does not cover damage or defects in workmanship or materials that are caused by:
- Negligence, accident, abuse, or misuse of Keim products
- Poor or improper storage or transportation
- Applications, use, or care that are not specified by Keim
- Improper maintenance or cleaning of treated surfaces
- Normal wear and tear and weathering
- Unauthorized application of, or modification to, the KEIM Product
- Failure to conform to Keim’s specifications in connection with storage, transportation,
application, use, care and maintenance - Any defects or shortcomings of the surface to which the coating is applied
- Application to floors or other horizontal surface
Note: By applying Keim paints or stains, the user accepts the suitability of use for specific purposes, surfaces, climate, and exposure.
