LUSCIOUS COLOR THAT COMES ALIVE

The true mineral matte nature of all Keim mineral paints is as beautiful as it is practical. Surfaces have a subtle, uniform texture and are absolutely flat, with no angular sheen to glare in direct light. And this mineral matte finish looks extremely natural, never artificial and always spectacular. Sometimes, only the truest flat finish will do, delivering a depth of finish unmatched by ordinary paints.

NATURAL MINERAL FINISH IS HARMONIOUS WITH NATURE

The stunning appearance of mineral paints is not limited to interiors, but building exteriors too, benefit from the natural appearance and mineral matte finish as seen here at right. Concrete takes on a far more elegant appearance when dressed with Concretal W High Performance Sol-silicate Finish for Concrete in classic white. And its intrinsic beauty matches seamlessly with other natural building materials.

MATTE FLAT DELIVERS UNIQUE TEXTURE

Even ordinary drywall takes on a stunning appearance when enhanced with Keim Optil Designer Interior Mineral Paint. Velvety is often used to describe the mineral finish, and here, at left, you can see how a smooth surface seems to gain depth and drama with simple lighting. Imagine how your interiors will come alive with Keim mineral paints!

NOT ALL FLAT PAINTS ARE CREATED EQUAL

Flat paints are prized for their honest and elegant finish, but some ordinary latex and acrylic flat paints can be too delicate for tough service. And, the acrylic ingredients impart an “angular” sheen that even in flat finishes, can glare especially in direct light or when you view a wall or ceiling from an angle. Not Keim mineral finishes, they deliver a far more uniform finish that never glares and is absolutely “dead” flat, and extremely scrub resistant. Nothing is more elegant or durable.

RADIANT LIGHT ILLUSTRATED HERE

Keim mineral paints diffuse glare through a process called light refraction, radiating light in all directions for a soft, even illumination. This process eliminates surface glare, even from the most direct light source. Notice how the micro-crystalline matrix surface of Keim mineral paint “spreads” light in all directions.

The smooth surface of acrylic and latex paint finishes bounce light back at an indirect angle from the light source creating a single-dimensional appearance. These acrylic paints produce glare, even in flat or lowsheen finishes.

Here you can see how light and shadow interplay to create a dramatic canvas, one that adds drama to your rooms and excitement to exteriors too. Throughout the day walls and building facades take on the shades of natural sunlight and even on low light days, mineral colors seem to “glow” and have an aura unlike any other paint. Mineral colors are so dynamic and lively you will never see your walls or masonry exteriors in the same light again!
